Maui - our mid-update
We are having a blast but need to be careful. We might be having too much fun. We get up early everyday and end up in bed well before 10pm - totally exhausted. From too much fun. So how can I complain about that? It's wonderful. I am posting this as I lay in my bed, listening to the ocean. Ahhhh.
We have been here for 4 days with Rod and Lesli and the boys (who are getting huge!) it has been such a fun trip and we are so grateful Lesli and Rod invited us. It has been fun to be in Hawaii with the boys, I find myself giggling at the things they say all day long.
I am going to wait for better pictures for a longer post, but I wanted to post a few things that I have loved:
- tandem parasailing was so much fun!!
- snorkeling at molokini crater (I am 99.9% sure I misspelled that but too tired to look it up)
- frolicking with sea turtles. Frolicking is probably the wrong word. I just swam really close and the turtles swam away while I tried to follow. It was so much fun. For me - not them.
- banana bread - this ladyclaims to make the best banana bread on the planet - I think she might be right!! Incredible.
The view from Mama's Fish House
This guy still loves me even when my sunscreen skills left him with a baaaaad sunburn. I will take a picture so I can show the doctor when he is diagnosed with skin cancer. Ps - this is the beach in front of our hotel. It is amazing!
My feet - happy to wear flip flops all day.
